In this series of classes, homeschool students will learn to identify and understand medicinal herbs that grow locally in our area. Each class will focus on a different herb, chosen based on what is actively growing at the time. While certain plants are planned, their availability depends on the season and weather.
Students will practice plant identification and explore the traditional uses of native medicinal herbs. This class encourages them to observe the changing plant life throughout the seasons and appreciate the useful plants God has provided.

We choose child friendly herbs when determining our class line up. Class order or herb is determined by availability of herbs in our gardens and/or from our trusted sources and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Register for any or all classes for our fall semester! Interest has been high, register early to secure your child’s spot. You may register multiple children on one registration form and at one check out, but you will have to fill out a short registration form for each of the individual class dates.
